If you want to fly to Orlando, I cannot stress the importance enough of signing up for an airline rewards program. The one we frequently use is Southwest Airlines because of the ease of accruing and using points. If you sign up for the Southwest credit card, you can get 40,000 points, which is enough for 2 people to fly for free round trip!
Being teachers, we need every dollar to be well-spent and to go as far as it can. That being said, if you are wanting to take advantage of this generous offer from Hilton Orlando, please sign up for a free Hilton account so that you can accrue points for future stays. If you aren’t sure how Hilton Rewards works, read this article.
By signing up for a Hilton credit card, you could receive more points for your stay, which could get you back to Orlando quicker for a free stay in the future. This is probably my favorite part of this deal offered by Hilton Orlando, simply because teachers probably would not normally spend this money on themselves; however, if we are getting the $50 resort credit regardless, we might as well pamper ourselves!
There are four restaurants on the property plus in-room dining. If you charge your bill to your room, then the $50 credit will apply. Why not indulge and spend one day of your credit on a nice steak dinner at Spencer’s?
The Eforea Spa would be the ultimate way of pampering yourself on your summer vacation! Why not spend at least one day’s worth of your credit at the spa, or even better, just have a spa day every day you are in Orlando!
Want to relax all day while the kids are wearing themselves out in the pool? Why not use the resort credit to get an awesome cabana for the day? You deserve it after teaching all year!
I don’t think many people are going to choose this option, but if you want something in the gift shop, you can charge the items to your room and redeem the resort credit that way.
Absolutely! Not only are you just 3 minutes from Universal and the Disney Parks, but Hilton Orlando also has 2 pools and a lazy river. They also have sport courts for use including basketball, bocce ball, and tennis. Don’t forget to wear the kids out on the water slide!
The guest rooms at the Hilton Orlando are updated and really nice! You will not be disappointed when you settle in for the night, and expect to get some good sleep after being in the summer sun for the day.
The Hilton Orlando discount for teachers is a great deal for families or friends that want a Disney experience while also spending time at a resort with lots of amenities. The $50 resort credit can go a long way if used correctly, and for once, teachers can pamper themselves with the luxuries of life after teaching all year.
