Elizabeth and I had the opportunity earlier in the summer to be interviewed by Melissa Lambarena, a writer at an extremely popular credit card site called NerdWallet, which is a USA Today partner. In her article, she focused on how parents and teachers can maximize credit card spend and perks when shopping for the kids or for their classroom.

When we as teachers are going to be buying items for our students (for any non-educators this happens all the time) we at least should try to maximize our spend so that we get price protection and some points to use for future travel.
